At long last, a proper restaurant is opening on the single sided town of Thomas! Located between our friends at Thomasyard and Ella & Co, the yellow brick of the old American Legion building is getting a major face lift. When complete, it will be the proud home of Farm Up Table.
From Food Truck to Full Service Restaurant
Though the restaurant will be new, Farm Up Table’s owners, Tiffiny & Lee Villar, are no strangers to the area’s culinary scene. Farm Up Table’s origins actually trace back to Farm Up Truck, an extremely popular food truck in Tucker County since 2016. If you’ve had a coffee at TipTop or a beer at Stumptown, chances are you’ve been at Farm Up Truck’s window ordering from their ever changing menu of fresh farm-to-plate items.

The Farm Up Truck has been a wild ride for the Villars, both literally and figuratively. They have gained a wealth of experience serving the streets, fairs and festivals of the Potomac Highlands. They also have some crazy stories like the night they lost their entire truck’s food inventory when the brakes went out on a mountain. While taking a sharp turn their wheels came off the ground and refrigerator doors flew open, spilling out all their contents.

Farm Up Table – Jazzy Comfort Food in the Heart of Thomas WV
The Villars have a beautiful vision for Farm Up Table. They plan to build on the food truck’s greatest hits like their pickled pig Cuban sandwich and fried chicken and waffles to create a menu centered around the theme of “jazzy comfort food”. In addition to their menu, they will be offering a variety of beer and wine.

Breakfast at Tiffiny’s
The restaurant promises to give patrons a comfort food experience with elevated flavors of New Orleans. Currently, they plan to be open five days a week (closed Tues & Wed) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Are you checking out on Sunday? Farm Up Table will need to be the last place you visit then because every Sunday will be “Breakfast at Tiffiny’s” where they will be serving brunch all day! In fact you’ll probably see me there with a plate of their outstanding Eggs Benedict.
Farm Up Truck’s menu history tells you that the Villars have some serious culinary chops. With this in mind, I expect some great things from their new restaurant. Here are some of their past creations from the food truck:
