Check In is at 4:00 PM
You can go directly to your cabin anytime after 4:00 PM. If you would like to pay the remainder of your stay with anything besides the original card used to book the reservation, please make arrangements prior to the 1st morning of your stay.
Check out is at 11:00 AM
With a 30-day notice of cancellation, the rental deposit is refunded less a cancellation fee of 10% of the reservation amount. With less than 30-day notice, deposit less cancellation fee is refunded only if the cabin is re-rented.
We receive heavy snowfall at times through the winter. Suitable transportation is advised.
If West Virginia issues a state-of-emergency due to weather on the day of your arrival, the rental deposit will be refunded in full (less a $20.00 processing fee).
Please be aware our cabins are more like homes than hotel rooms. TVs and decor are not bolted down. Please do not move items in the cabins as it may result in accidental damage. You will be responsible for anything broken in the cabin during your stay. This includes any unreported damages found after your departure.
All Cabins Have
communication – telephones that have free long distance, exclusive internet connection
kitchen – pots, pans, dishes, coffee, coffee maker & filters
bathroom – towels, soaps, shampoo & hair dryer
bed – linens, blankets & pillows
In an effort to keep our cabins in exceptional condition for each guest, have a strict no-pet policy. If you are found to have your pet in the cabins, you will be subject to immediate eviction without warning or refund.
We strongly advise using Google Maps to find us. GPS devices don’t like the address the state gave us.You can download directions here or go to the DIRECTIONS page for more help.
DO NOT ADD WATER We set the water levels before your arrival. Overfilling can burn the tub’s pump and short out electronics.
Place the lid on the hot tub when it is not in use.
Do not remove the chemical dispenser “mushroom” from the tub.
Tubs are set to run in 15 minute intervals then automatically shut off.
If you turn your hot tub off and the jets continue to run at 50%, this is normal. It means the tub has gone into a standby mode. It cannot be turned off.
Locking the Doors
In Queen, King & Royale there is a trick to locking the doors. With the door shut, pull up on the handle and then turn the lock. Pulling up on the handle engages a locking arm on the door. Without engaging the arm, the door will remain unlocked.

As of Sept 2015 gift certificates from the previous management (Cveticans, Golden Anchor Restaurant & Golden Anchor Inc.) will no longer be accepted by Golden Anchor Properties LLC. We appologize for any inconvenience.
There are several great locally run restaurants within driving distance. We highlight some of them on our area blog. Below is a map of towns in our area, route numbers and restaurants within that town. Remember that cell phone service is spotty in the mountains and you should save this to your device to use as a driving reference.

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Credit Card Data
Credit card information used to reserve a cabin is stored by Shift 4. Credit card information is not stored digitally or physically by either The Golden Anchor Properties or Rezstream (our booking engine company). See www.Shift4.com for details regarding the security measures they have in place.
