A Scenic Drive From Through the West Virginia Hills
Golden Anchor Cabins is less than a three hour drive from Charleston, WV. Simply take I-79 North out of town all the way to Exit 99 in Weston WV. My advice is to follow Rt 33 East all the way to Buckhannon before stopping for a bite to eat. CJ Maggie’s in downtown Buckhannon is delightful and the town’s main street is thriving and beautiful. After that, get back on Rt 33 East traveling through Elkins and then on to Harman. Turn right onto Rt 32 north in Harman. Follow Rt 32 along the Dryfork River for 7 miles and you will arrive at Golden Anchor Cabins’ main property.
