9/13/2020 Classic Cabin – Surprise Engagement Getaway
She said yes!!!
Thank you for such a beautiful place to stay for my surprise engagement! We had picked the area as a quiet getaway during a tough year and it truly lived up to expectations!
We loved touring Blackwater Falls State Park and Seneca Rocks on Friday and the rolling fog and rugged terrain of Dolly Sods made for a perfect proposal spot! It was a joy to come back to the warm cabin each night for a soak and to curl up in front of the fire. The town of Davis is also a gem! Thank you for the hospitality & comfort of enhanced cleaning procedures!

9/10/2020 Serenity Cabin – A Douglas Falls Adventure
Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful, romantic cabin. We were very comfortable here and had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding wilderness.
Saw Blackwater Falls, hiked several trails, and then felt rather silly on our way to Douglas Falls after turning around on the gravel road twice, uncertain if it was an actual road or a hiking trail. We finally got our courage when we saw another car venture down it. When we finally made it to the end of the road & climbed down to the falls, we decided it was totally worth looking like knucklehead tourists! So amazing! Thank you again – we hope to return one day.

9/12/2020 Serenity Cabin – This Place is Amazing
Our breath was taken away when we first walked in. Loved the dĂ©cor, it was peaceful, cozy had a romantic feeling to it, we knew right away we’ll be back next year. We’ve never done anything like this for ourselves before. It was way overdue and something we needed to get back on track. we have been together for 17 years and married for 14. Hit a speed bump this past long couple of years and finally are getting over it. This place was amazing. It will be a recommendation to all our friends and family. We want to thank you for what you do for us couples. Being alone together in a cabin in the middle of nowhere really does help.

9/7/2020 King Cabin – 10 out of 10 stars!!!
Silvia & I had a delightful time staying @ the King cabin. To our amazement the cabin was found in an impeccable condition! Much kudos to you both – your support staff – GREAT JOB!! We will definitely will be back more than once, we had a great quiet peaceful time, without any issues/complaints. Keep up the great cabins, we will definitely recommend to others! 10 out of 10 stars!!

9/10/2020 Mountain Mist Cabin – So Cozy for the Two of Us!
This was our first vacation ever as a couple and we were in love with this cabin as soon as we walked in. The cabin is beautifully decorated and is so cozy for the two of us! We went to Smokehole for a cavern tour & it was great! We also hiked at Seneca and Blackwater Falls. Here at the cabin we enjoyed time by the fire pit & hot tub. This will not be our last time here. The locals were extremely nice & helpful. We will come back to Golden Anchor Cabins in the future. Thank you for making our honeymoon great! <3
