From the moment Jamie and I took over The Golden Anchor, we began hearing about a local establishment that was THE place for breakfast in the valley so we had to check it out. We’re now regulars at Amelia’s and the place simply does not disappoint. While I am quite pleased with their breakfast platter and biscuits & gravy, Jamie absolutely lives for their huge helping of french toast covered in powdered sugar. Located 6 miles north of us, just off of Rt 32, Amelia’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at affordable prices.
NOTE: When you leave the restaurant parking lot, turn left and in around 100 yards you can actually drive across an active runway. It’s a dead end but it’s worth it just to laugh like a school kid when you cross it!
