We stayed here the second weekend in Aug. We moved to Pa form Georgia and always liked to get away to the North Ga mountains. The North Ga mountains are loaded with cabin rentals for couples. We have been looking for a long time for a cabin get away for couples nearby. There a re a few but, none as nice as these. We are very pleased with the quality and cleanliness and are already looking at booking before the holidays some time.

Upon arriving at the Classic Cabin we immediately wanted to extend our stay and fortunately we could! The cabin is beautifully appointed, spotless, very comfortable, well equipped, and the Jacuzzi water was sparkling clean. The proximity to cross country skiing is great. Although there are restaurants nearby we chose to eat in and enjoy the warm fireplace and cozy ambience. We look forward to returning!

This is our second time staying with Golden Anchor Cabins and our first time staying in Mountain Mist. We loved this cabin! The only thing I would change is the small love seat in the living room (a small sectional or chaise lounge-style sofa would be better), but everything else was perfect. This is their most secluded cabin and it is just so beautiful! We can’t wait to come back 😊

We stayed at “Serenity” cabin at the end of April. The cabin was beautiful. It was extremely clean and much more spacious than I anticipated. The mountain views from the family room and front deck were breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and it even had a dishwasher. All local nature attractions were within a 20-30 minute drive from the cabin (Dolly Sods, Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rock, The Purple Fiddle). Upon my arrival I realized my cell phone charger malfunctioned. I messaged the owner, asking if she had a spare that she could lend me. She responded with a charger at my door within five minutes of my request, definitely going above and beyond my expectations. I would 100 percent recommend staying here.

We have stayed at golden anchor cabins 3 years in a row now and everytime we look forward to our next stay and never want to leave. It has become a yearly tradition of ours to get away together reconnect and enjoy some time to relax. Your cabins are absolutely beautiful and everything a couple could want. We love all the personal touches from the extra blankets, decor, freshly folded towels, the Hershey kisses by the bedside each stay to all the exciting touches as well such as games/game room and the hot tubs which are very clean and maintained well. We love that these cabins feel like home away from home not a resort or hotel they are very comfortable and home like. We also appreciate how spotless EVERYTHING is in the cabins, dishes, bathroom, towels, glass, no dust, even right down to the mattress when you strip the beds they are spotless! The one and only thing we could ever suggest is in the enchanted cabin it would be awesome if by near the ski ball machine there was a net to catch balls from going over the loft wall down to the first floor. We were so worried about a ball falling over the edge and breaking something in this beautiful cabin! We loved all the games in this cabin though especially the Bluetooth juke box. Such a awesome touch we had a blast! We both highly suggest a stay with golden anchor cabins and always suggest it to our friends and family as well. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

For the last three years my wife, Roseann, and I have spent Labor Day week in a Golden Anchor Cabin. First Serenity, then Meadow, and this year, King. We enjoy the peace & quiet of the area and take advantage of the recommendations for local recreational activities. This year I discovered the nearby golf course, which was in great shape! The weather was perfect for using our telescope to view the night sky. It was hard to look away. This year was the best ever! We plan to book our next stay after the holidays.

me and my fiance just spent 3 days there this past weekend, what a beautiful cabin (royale) very clean and very nice inside and out , bathroom had a towel warmer (awesome) shower was super nice and had lots of shower heads plenty of space no complaints at all.! i usually have issues when we go away and its always the showers , this one was perfect may have to upgrade mine at home now lol ! i added the swan and rose petals package & she absolutely loved it ! when you walk in the place it just looks amazing from the all the wood to the furniture & decor owners took some pride in it! as for cell service i have ATT & sumsung z fold phone ,my service work perfectly fine at cabin . phone calls/text message no prob. , i know in listing it said it was spotty but no complaints here! there is lots to do in area but youll need some time , we went horseback riding, her first time on a horse, she absolutely loved it.guess we’ll be buyin a horse soon ! we visited dolly sods and bear rock preserve beautiful scenery also went to black water falls and pendelton point amazing views and beautiful mountains,trees were changin colors this tiime of year! we happen to be there the weekend of the leaf peepers festival in davis, so we had to visit,did a little shopping and of course a meal . it was a good day ! if ya get achance check this place out and all the area has to offer you wont be dissapointed! thanks alot daniel and jamie we had a very good experience at your Royale cabin , definitely coming back in a few months, we still have more stuff on our list of things to do and see there in the area!

For our 15th wedding anniversary, I told my wife to pick anywhere she would like to go. We looked at several cabins in Virginia and West Virginia. Golden Anchors had everything we were looking for. We chose Mountain Mist because of it’s location and coziness of the cabin. Pictures do not do it justice. It was wonderful. The warmth of the cabin and the hot tub were so nice. All the romantic amenities I requested were set up very nicely. We enjoyed the cabin on our first night. We had plans for a Potomac Eagle train ride on our second day. Because the cabin was so nice. On our third day we decided to just enjoy the cabin. We played the games provide in the game room and enjoyed the hot tub. It made for a memorable wedding anniversary celebration. Thank you so much!

We learned about Golden Anchor from a friend. We stayed for 3 days in August 2023. As soon as we walked in, we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful! We loved all the decor. It has everything you could need besides food. It was so comfortable and an amazing getaway! The bed you could just melt in! Owners are amazing, as well! We’re staying at the Meadow for Valentines Day 2024 and can’t wait!

It was our first time visiting the area. We absolutely loved it. The Meadow Cabin had a beautiful view. Very relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything you need and some. I would recommend it to anyone who needs some relaxation and quiet. You have to visit Blackwater Falls, it was breathtaking.
