Meadow Cabin Introduction – Stunning Cabin with Hot Tub in WV
Brought online in September 2017, the extensive remodel of this cabin with hot tub in Canaan Valley WV is complete and ready for a romantic cabin getaway! The Meadow Cabin features a tile shower for two, granite counter tops, locally sourced hardwood floors, heated tile flooring in the bathroom, a king size bed, a spacious hot tub, a gas log fireplace and a wrap around deck with a beautiful mountain view. It is also the first of our cabins to offer a game room which includes a foosball table and a 60 classic game arcade machine. We’re so proud to have it as part of our cabin rentals.
As with all of our honeymoon cabins, all the lights are on dimmers to help set the mood for romantic time together. A selection of romantic CD’s is available for your enjoyment. Other amenities include a flat screen TV, mood lighting, robes, and luxurious bed linens. This cabin has wi-fi so you can keep in touch with your loved ones.

Anniversary Cabin
We learned about Golden Anchor from a friend. We stayed for 3 days in August 2023. As soon as we walked in, we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful! We loved all the decor. It has everything you could need besides food. It was so comfortable and an amazing getaway! The bed you could just melt in! Owners are amazing, as well! We’re staying at the Meadow for Valentines Day 2024 and can’t wait!
Peaceful Getaway
It was our first time visiting the area. We absolutely loved it. The Meadow Cabin had a beautiful view. Very relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything you need and some. I would recommend it to anyone who needs some relaxation and quiet. You have to visit Blackwater Falls, it was breathtaking.
Perfect getaway
Our 3rd stay at Queen cabin and it keeps getting better. Daniel & Jamie are wonderful hosts and really have every detail included for the perfect couples getaway. I’m so happy I stumbled upon their website 2years ago when I was looking for a surprise getaway for us. We are already discussing our next trip!
Best Meadow Cabin
My husband & I have stayed at this cabin 3 times. July 2022, then again Sept. 2022 & again July 2023. This is our favorite cabin with the firepit roasting hotdogs, listening to the coyotes howl at times at night. It is so relaxing here that we stay at least for 5 days.The mountains from one side to the other are beautiful. We are hoping to come back in 2024. The bed is comfortable & everything you need in the kitchen. Our daughter, Noel told us about Golden Anchors & so glad she did. Thank you Daniel & Jamie for sharing this beautiful place with us.
AMAZING!
First off Daniel & Jamie are amazing hosts! Our housekeeper Dawn did a spectacular job with how immaculate the cabin was. We stayed at classic for our 3rd year anniversary. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in with the lighting and the soft music playing. The hot tub was amazing and we are still talking about it! We will definitely be back again and try a different cabin next! We would highly recommend to our family / friends!
